The news was shared through an Instagram post on both Trudeau’s and Grégoire Trudeau’s accounts, each in English and French, around noon.
“After many meaningful and difficult conversations, we have made the decision to separate,” they stated.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2005, share three children: Xavier, 15, Ella-Grace, 14, and Hadrien, nine.
